If you have never had a powerflush, or it was powerflushed more than 5 years ago, with no ongoing maintenance or preventative devices fitted- such as a Magnaclean filter-, then it is highly likely that the system is in need of a powerflush.
Your hot water also forms part of this system. Whether a combi or conventional system, a powerflush and additional flushing of the hot water circuit is necessary to have a reliable and energy efficient system.
